The following are the most 'Frequently asked questions' people may have when thinking about setting up a website for their business: Q. How long will it take you to build our website? A. The size and complexity of the website will determine how long it takes to develop. Smaller sites can take less than 2 weeks, whereas larger websites may take up to a month to complete, depending on our current work schedule. We can advise an exact starting date at time of quoting but we will aim to have it completed between 2 and 3 weeks. In addition to this, if we have optimised your website for the various search engines (e.g: GOOGLE, YAHOO) it may take a few weeks for your website to appear on the search engines. This is not controlled by Deep Water Creative Solutions but by the various search engine companies. Q. Where do I send the content for my website? A. Content (text, photos/ images, logo) may be emailed as an attachment to: deepwatercreativesolutions@hotmail.com or B. contact us for our mailing address. Q. What are the accepted formats for website content? A. Deep Water Creative Solutions do not accept files in Macintosh format. Our preference is for: Images - JPG (.jpg), GIF (.gif) or TIF (.tif) format. B. Text - standard windows word processing format (Word, Notepad) or the text contained within a text email. An additional charge will apply where Deep Water Creative Solutions must manually type the text in for you. Q. Do you create websites with E-Commerce capabilities? A. At this stage Deep Water Creative Solutions does not provide this service. Q. Once my website is setup, how can I organise for it to be updated ? A. Deep Water Creative Solutions can update the website on your behalf as per our maintenance rate (i.e. $30 per hour). You would need to contact us beforehand to discuss what it is you would like changed so we can determine a quote for you. |
